MISSION

We build the missing software layer between AI rack power and grid compliance — so the next 10 GW of AI capacity can deploy without breaking the grid.

Young Liang
CEO & FOUNDER

Fifteen years in power systems engineering at Foxconn and Pegatron. Master's in Information Management from National Central University. Founded XMight in 2022 to address the gap between AI rack power and grid compliance.

The grid was never designed for 100 MW loads that swing on a millisecond. Rack-level orchestration isn't optional — it's the next layer.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Open standards win

We contribute to OCP because rack power specs should be open. Power orchestration belongs in a community-maintained spec, not a vendor moat.

Software closes the loop

The gap between GPU power transients and grid protection relays is a software problem. DPO fills it with workload-aware forecasting and millisecond-class control.

Compliance is a product

ERCOT NOGRR 282 turns grid compliance from a checkbox into a continuous operational requirement. DPO closes the loop on it.

INDUSTRY CONTRIBUTION

Where we contribute upstream.

XMight is a member of the OCP Startup Program 2026, the sole Asia representative in the cohort. We participate in the OCP Rack & Power working group, contributing the DPO Gateway Specification — an open specification for rack-level power orchestration that meets emerging grid compliance requirements.

In October 2025 we presented "The Active BBU: Dynamic Power Orchestration for Stable and Efficient ORv3 AI Racks" at the OCP Global Summit — the technical foundation of the DPO Gateway Specification and our commercial DPO implementation.

PILOT & IP

Where we are.

DPO is currently in pilot deployment with a North American Edge AI data center operator. Our IP foundation is anchored by US patent US12510873B2 (granted), with additional patents granted in Taiwan and pending in the US.
